Ingredients for 6 servings: 1,5 kg chestnuts
400 gr sugar
50 gr cocoa powder
1 glass of milk
1 little glass of Rhum
Ready in: about 70 minutes
How to prepare the recipe: "Mont Blanc":
Wash the chestnuts and boil in boiling water for about 45 minutes, drain and skin removing the inner skin too. Pass through a food mill or a potato masher and keep aside.
Heat the milk until it boils. Add sugar and cocoa and melt them, then add Rhum too. Finally combine the chestnuts mixture and mix well.
Pass this mixture through a potato masher again and let it fall softly on a serving plate so that you form the typical mount shape. Serve this sweet with whipped cream sweetned with icing sugar.
Chef's advice
The Mont Blanc is a typical winter sweet. If you want to give color to the plate and surprise you guests, you can decorate this dessert with candied violets.
